FRESH UNIVERSITY GRADUATES ALREADY HAVE EXPERIENCE

gathering experience as you study

It is not true that fresh university graduates do not have work-related experience. Those graduates who are not able to demonstrate any work-related experience are considered not starters and therefore not likely to get employment easily.

The following are the ways students are required to gather experience as they study right from the basic level of education through university:

  1. Volunteering to hold positions of leadership in school;
  2. Taking part in sporting activities;
  3. Participating in students exchange programmes;
  4. Volunteering in holding positions in church or community service organizations during holidays;
  5. Working as interns during holidays for free or some pay;
  6. Participating in work for fees at college;
  7. Starting and running an online business, and many more
